A flexible pan connector is used to connect a WC Pan to a soil pipe connection that is at an awkward angle or position to the pan outlet. Usually in such an instance, space behind the pan is too tight to allow a combination of fittings to be used, so the SP106 with its in-built flexibility is the best solution.All of the fins on the outlet of the pan connector should be pushed securely into the soil pipe to make the connection. The neck of the pan is then pushed inside the large ring seal at the front of the pan connector. A small application of silicon spray is often useful to facilitate this pan connection.
