Bath traps traditionally only have a 20mm deep seal. This is because there is very little chance of induced siphonage (and hence loss of trap seal) because the flat bottom of the bath ensures that water flows out through the waste at a much slower rate than in a basin or sink.This bath trap however has a 50mm deep seal for added protection.
